Representative Brian Mast, currently serving Florida’s 21st District in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed a range of topics relevant to his constituents in a series of social media posts. Mast, who has represented the district since 2017 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, discussed economic trends, law enforcement recognition, and hurricane preparedness.

On July 15, 2025, Mast commented on recent price trends for consumers under President Biden’s administration. He stated that “Prices for everyday Americans continue to fall under @POTUS’s leadership:

Gas: -8.3%
Hotels: -3.7%
Smartphones: -14.1%
Fresh vegetables: -1.3%
Airfare: -3.5%”.

Later that day, on July 15, 2025, Mast highlighted Florida’s law enforcement agencies by saying “Not only do we have some of the best law enforcement you can find in the country, Florida’s Highway Patrol has the best looking cruiser!”

In another post on July 15, 2025, Mast emphasized the importance of preparation during hurricane season. He advised residents that “We are in the middle of hurricane season and preparation is key. From heavy rains to high winds, now’s the time to double-check your emergency plans, stock up on essentials, and make sure you are ready for anything.”

Brian Mast was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently resides in Fort Pierce. He earned a BA from Harvard University Extension School in 2016.
