Rep. Brian Mast, who represents Florida’s 21st congressional district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted several messages on social media addressing community safety and national security concerns.

On January 7, 2026, Mast acknowledged local law enforcement by stating, “Thanks to @MartinFLSheriff for the tireless efforts to keep our community safe.”

Later that same day, Mast commented on immigration policy with the post: “America will no longer be a safe haven for foreign criminals that steal our tax dollars & public services.”

The following day, January 8, 2026, Mast issued a travel advisory: “Heads up if you’re planning a trip abroad.”

Mast has served in Congress since 2017 after replacing Patrick Murphy and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and resides in Fort Pierce. In addition to his political career, Mast graduated from Harvard University Extension School with a bachelor’s degree in 2016.
