Effective May 14, the City of Port St. Lucie will adjust the operating hours of its Convenient Drop-Off Center to better align with county landfill hours. The new schedule will be Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The city is making these changes to streamline services and ensure that the center is used exclusively by residents. Starting June 30, commercial waste dropped off by contractors and landscapers will no longer be accepted at the site located at 1501 SW Cameo Blvd. This measure aims to prioritize resident access, reduce operational costs, and increase capacity for bulk waste management.

Residents can deposit items such as flattened cardboard, indoor and outdoor furniture, appliances like refrigerators and ovens, as well as exercise equipment.
