U.S. Congressman Brian Mast has expressed his support following the passage of H.R. 4, known as the Rescissions Act of 2025. The legislation aims to address spending practices that Mast criticizes as wasteful and not in the best interest of Americans.

Mast stated, “The American people are done with the corrupt spending spree of the far-left, and I’m proud of the work the Foreign Affairs Committee did to bring these egregious programs to light.” He accused Democrats of using taxpayer money on initiatives that do not benefit Americans, particularly during President Joe Biden’s term.

He further commented, “Even in the final days of Joe Biden’s disastrous term, they shoveled as much money as possible out the door to their favorite liberal causes. That ends now.” Mast emphasized a commitment to ensuring that future spending aligns with national priorities, saying, “Together with President Trump, we’ll make sure that any dollar spent puts America first.”
