On Friday, May 30, former John Carroll Catholic High School standout Marcos Gamboa’s current collegiate team the Bethune–Cookman Wildcats lost 2-6 against the Florida State Seminoles in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

The game took place at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium at 3 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Florida State Seminoles in the tournament.

The Bethune–Cookman Wildcats’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 31 at 1 p.m. at Mike Martin Field at Dick Howser Stadium.
