On Tuesday, April 1, former John Carroll Catholic High School standout Marcos Gamboa’s current college team, the Bethune–Cookman Wildcats, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the South Florida Bulls.

The game took place at USF Baseball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulls this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Ballpark against Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils.
