On Saturday, April 5, former Fort Pierce Central High School standout Dale Francis, Jr.’s current college team, the Gardner–Webb Runnin’ Bulldogs, lost 12-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Western Carolina Catamounts.

The game took place at Ronnie G. Childress Field at Hennon Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Catamounts this season.

The Runnin’ Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at John Henry Moss Stadium against Western Carolina Catamounts.
