A community job fair will be held in Port St. Lucie on August 25, offering residents a chance to meet potential employers and explore new career opportunities. The event is organized by the City of Port St. Lucie in partnership with CareerSource Research Coast.

The job fair is free to attend and will take place from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center, located at 9221 SE Event Center Place, Port St. Lucie. Veterans are invited to enter early at 3 p.m.

To support those seeking employment, CareerSource Research Coast and GraceWay Village are running a clothing donation drive for business casual attire such as shirts, blouses, trousers, dresses, blazers, and shoes. Donations can be dropped off at GraceWay Village (1780 Hartman Road, Fort Pierce) or the front desk of City Hall (121 SW Port St. Lucie Blvd.) until August 20. Donated items should be clean and in good condition.

Job seekers will have an opportunity to select donated clothing starting at noon on August 25 at the MIDFLORIDA Event Center before the job fair begins. Any leftover work attire will be sent to GraceWay Village.

“Job seekers are encouraged to take advantage of this incredible opportunity to explore the next steps in their career journeys. Save the date and gear up for an eventful and rewarding experience at the Community Job Fair.”
