Rep. Brian Mast, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, recently posted a series of messages on social media addressing national leadership, support for law enforcement, and criticism of Democratic policies.

On February 16, Mast marked the federal holiday with a post stating: “Happy Presidents’ Day. From past leaders who shaped our nation to the Golden Age under President Donald J. Trump, it’s about putting America first.”

The following day, February 17, he expressed gratitude toward law enforcement officers: “If you sign up to wear the badge and uphold the rule of law in your community, know that we’ve got your back & will fight for you. Thank you for what you do.”

Later on February 17, Mast criticized Democratic lawmakers in another post: “Just a reminder that Democrats are once again putting our personal safety & national security at risk to score political points with their far-left base.”

Mast has served in Congress since succeeding Patrick Murphy in 2017 and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980, Mast resides in Fort Pierce and earned his BA from Harvard University Extension School in 2016.
