Rep. Brian Mast, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, recently posted several statements on his social media account regarding tax policy, law enforcement, and migration patterns to Florida.

On March 19, 2026, Mast shared a message referencing New Yorkers who have relocated to Florida: “We’re not going back.” – Every New Yorker in the free state of Florida.

The following day, on March 20, Mast highlighted new legislation affecting car owners: That’s right. Thanks to the One Big Beautiful Bill, if you’ve been paying interest on an American-made car, you could qualify for a brand new tax break.

Later that same day, he addressed issues related to law enforcement and animal welfare with the statement: Backing the blue means deporting puppy punchers. No paw left behind.

Mast has represented Florida’s 21st District in Congress since succeeding Patrick Murphy in 2017 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently resides in Fort Pierce. Mast earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Harvard University Extension School in 2016.
