Rep. Brian Mast, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, recently used his social media platform to highlight support for servicemembers, public safety positions, and environmental concerns.

On November 17, 2025, Mast posted: “.@USDA is here to support America’s heroic servicemembers—whether you’re readjusting to civilian life here at home, active-duty, or need help for a military spouse—there are resources for you:

. The message directed attention to resources available through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for current and former military personnel and their families.

Later that day, Mast stated: “If you’re looking for someone to defend violent felons — it’s not us. https://t.co/XjYOSy5z5j” on November 17, 2025.

On November 18, 2025, he addressed environmental stewardship with the post: “From lakes to estuaries to water runoff, no one cares more about the water than the communities whose livelihoods depend on it.

.

Mast has served in Congress since replacing Patrick Murphy in 2017 and previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently residing in Fort Pierce, Mast earned his BA from Harvard University Extension School in 2016.
