Rep. Brian Mast, who represents Florida’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress, reaffirmed his commitment to water quality and infrastructure projects in a series of posts on April 14, 2026.
In a post made at 00:08 UTC, Mast stated, “We’re keeping our word, building the right infrastructure, and sending the water south where it belongs. The EAA Reservoir will be larger than Manhattan & able to store over 78 BILLION gallons of water.”
Later that day at 15:00 UTC, he reiterated his dedication to environmental efforts with another message: “I once made a promise on the floor of the House of Representatives—fixing my communities’ water quality is my top priority. The EAA Reservoir is central to that promise, and I’ll keep fighting until it’s complete!”
At 18:58 UTC on the same day, Mast also acknowledged an anniversary for military service members by posting: “78 years of @USAFReserve—fly, fight, win!”
Mast has represented Florida’s 21st district since replacing Patrick Murphy in Congress in 2017. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently residing in Fort Pierce, Mast earned his BA from Harvard University Extension School in 2016.
