Rep. Brian Mast, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 21st district, shared several updates on social media on May 8, 2026, highlighting his engagement with veterans and constituents.

In a post from May 8, Mast invited followers to participate in an event honoring military service members: “Join me tomorrow for our annual Military Appreciation BBQ Honored to spend time with fellow veterans and servicemembers who answered the call to serve our nation. Rain or shine, hope to see you there!”.

Later that day, Mast posted another message emphasizing his priorities: “Can’t stop, won’t stop. Americans come first, always.”

He also commented on local wildlife efforts in Florida in a third post: “Florida men and women remain unmatched: a 15-foot-8-inch python doesn’t stand a chance.”
