Brian Mast, who has served in the U.S. Congress since 2017 representing Florida’s 21st District, recently shared several updates through his social media platform. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mast resides in Fort Pierce and is a graduate of Harvard University Extension School.
On May 1, 2025, Mast commented on efforts in law enforcement, stating, “This is what law and order looks like: over 1,100 illegal immigrants with deportation orders and criminal histories arrested in just six days. Proud of local and federal forces working together to keep our communities safe. Let’s take it nationwide.”
Later the same day, Mast introduced the Uniform School Mapping Act, highlighting the importance of updated resources during emergencies. He said, “In an emergency, every second counts but first responders are sometimes left with school maps that are outdated, incomplete, or missing information when assisting in a crisis. That’s why I introduced the Uniform School Mapping Act: to make sure we give first responders the tools.”
The day was also marked by the beginning of Military Appreciation Month, to which Mast paid tribute. He expressed gratitude, saying, “Today is the start of Military Appreciation Month and a chance to honor the commitment and sacrifice it takes to put on the uniform. Thank you to my fellow brothers and sisters in arms who wake up every morning to defend our great nation.”
Brian Mast, 42 years old, has a notable service history as a former member of the Florida House of Representatives and has been actively involved in legislative matters since assuming his current role, succeeding Patrick Murphy.
