Rep. Brian Mast, U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, highlighted several issues in a series of posts on January 22, 2026.

In a post addressing fraud targeting veterans and military retirees, Mast stated: “In 2023 alone, veterans and military retirees experienced a total of $350 million in fraud losses. The VSAFE act works to change that, and I voted to pass it this week on the House floor:” (January 22, 2026).

Later the same day, Mast posted: “Make America safe again!” (January 22, 2026).

On National Sanctity of Human Life Day, Mast also wrote: “January 22nd is National Sanctity of Human Life Day, and I’m proud of my consistent A+ rating with @sbaprolife. I’ll always stand with this movement: every single life is worth protecting.” (January 22, 2026).

Mast has represented Florida’s 21st District in Congress since replacing Patrick Murphy in 2017. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently residing in Fort Pierce, Mast earned his BA from Harvard University Extension School in 2016.
