Rep. Brian Mast, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 21st district, has recently expressed his views on several political matters via social media. His messages focus on election security, immigration policies under President Trump, and state partnerships with the Department of Homeland Security.

On April 26, 2025, Rep. Mast tweeted about his support for election security, urging action on the SAVE Act. He stated, “Let’s get the SAVE Act to the President’s desk. The American people want secure elections.”

The following day, April 27, 2025, Rep. Mast commented on the accomplishments of President Trump within his initial 100 days in office, emphasizing immigration enforcement. He remarked, “As we approach President Trump’s first 100 days in office, one thing is clear: he’s keeping his promises. If you are in this country illegally, you will be removed.”

On April 28, 2025, Rep. Mast applauded a collaboration pioneered by Florida in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security. He advocated for other states to adopt similar measures, stating, “Every state should be following Florida’s lead. This first-of-its-kind partnership is exactly how we should be working with DHS to make sure these dangerous illegal immigrants are off our streets and out of our communities.”

Rep. Brian Mast, 42, was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and has lived in various cities. After serving in the Florida House of Representatives, he joined Congress in 2017, succeeding Patrick Murphy. He currently resides in Fort Pierce, Florida, and completed a BA from Harvard University Extension School in 2016.
