In recent statements shared on social media, Rep. Brian Mast has expressed his views on contemporary political and social issues in the United States. Representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, Mast has been actively voicing his opinions on matters such as women’s sports, military policies, and the current administration’s impact.

On April 29, 2025, Mast commented on women’s sports via a Twitter post stating: “It’s simple, women’s sports belong to women. @POTUS thank you for protecting our daughters.”

In another post later that day, Mast reflected on the accomplishments of President Trump, remarking on his initial 100 days in office. He wrote, “President Trump has now been in the White House for 100 days, and the United States is once again leading on the world stage as the list of promises made and promises kept continues to grow. Which promises were you most excited to see kept during President Trump’s first 100.”

Further into the evening, Mast addressed recent changes in military training policies, sharing his perspective on its impact. He stated, “The Pentagon should train warriors, not woke ideologues. @POTUS’s executive order dismantling DEI in the military restores merit, morale, and strength in our ranks.”

Brian Mast, who resides in Fort Pierce, Florida, was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980. He graduated from Harvard University Extension School in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts and began his political career in the Florida House of Representatives before joining the U.S. Congress.
