Rep. Brian Mast, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 21st district, shared his thoughts on various topics through a series of tweets. These posts highlight his focus on economic revitalization, appreciation for military families, and legislative efforts.
On May 9, Rep. Mast expressed support for the Small Business Administration’s initiatives during Small Business Week. He stated, “As we end Small Business Week, I’m glad to see the SBA stepping up to bring manufacturing back to America. This is how we rebuild our economy. Make it ‘made in the USA’ again.”
Later that day, Rep. Mast acknowledged Military Spouse Appreciation Day by honoring the sacrifices made by military spouses nationwide. He personally noted the contributions of his wife with a tweet: “On Military Spouse Appreciation Day, we honor the endless sacrifices made by husbands and wives across the country. My wife, Brianna, has always been my rock, and I can’t thank her enough for her continued love and support.”
The following day on May 10, he provided an overview of his week in Washington via another tweet which covered several issues including animal rights legislation and veteran support bills. He also mentioned hurricane safety and extended greetings for Mother’s Day weekend: “Another busy week in Washington: let’s talk about a victory for animal lovers, my new bill to support veterans, hurricane safety, and of course, a shoutout to our moms this Mother’s Day weekend!”
Brian Mast was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and resides in Fort Pierce. He replaced Patrick Murphy as U.S Congress member from Florida’s 21st District in 2017 after previously serving in the Florida House of Representatives.
