Rep. Brian Mast, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 21st district since 2017, shared several updates on his official Twitter account regarding local safety initiatives, educational programs, and government spending reforms.

On June 8, 2025, Rep. Mast tweeted about local law enforcement efforts in Florida with the message “Fixed it — local cops are making Florida SAFE.” This statement was accompanied by two links to images or articles providing further context.

Later that day, at 17:41 UTC, Rep. Mast highlighted legislative efforts aimed at connecting small businesses with graduates from Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. He stated “The Connecting Small Businesses with Career and Technical Education Graduates Act helps bridge the gap between CTE students and employers needing skilled workers. Programs like these are great for our district.”

In another tweet posted on June 8 at 22:50 UTC, Rep. Mast addressed fiscal concerns by noting progress in identifying unnecessary government expenditures. He expressed his intention to address this issue through legislative action: “We’ve identified billions in waste and now we’re working to rescind it. Long overdue. Let’s get these rescissions on the House floor for a vote.”

Rep. Brian Mast has been serving in Congress since replacing Patrick Murphy in 2017 and is an alumnus of Harvard University Extension School.
