Rep. Brian Mast, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 21st district, posted several updates on his social media account in March 2026, addressing both travel assistance for Americans abroad and honoring local heroes.

On March 18, Mast advised constituents seeking travel information or assistance returning to the United States to follow official guidance. He wrote, “If you are planning on traveling abroad or need help returning to the U.S., stay updated with @TravelGov and contact the State Department task force at +1-202-501-4444 for assistance.”

The following day, Mast expressed gratitude toward a local law enforcement officer. In a post dated March 19, he stated, “Thank you Sergeant LeVasseur for your courage and sacrifice. This Purple Heart is a symbol of your strength, your service, and your unwavering dedication to the people of Port St. Lucie, St. Lucie County and the entire Treasure Coast.”

Later that same day, Mast posted another message honoring public servants: “May God bless these heroes and their families.”

Mast has represented Florida’s 21st District in Congress since 2017 after succeeding Patrick Murphy. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980, Mast resides in Fort Pierce and holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University Extension School.
