Rep. Brian Mast, who has represented Florida’s 21st district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, recently posted a series of statements on his social media platform, addressing law enforcement service, antisemitism, and support for families of fallen officers.
On January 9, 2026, Mast praised those considering careers in law enforcement: “Signing up to protect your community & uphold the rule of law is one of the most honorable paths an American can take. If you’re considering it, @PBCountySherriff is among the finest. https://t.co/xzDQYUnVnx” (January 9, 2026).
Later that day, he commended efforts against antisemitism in Florida with a brief statement: “Good work. Antisemitism has no home in Florida or anywhere in America. https://t.co/LuByXU9eA5” (January 9, 2026).
In another post that evening, Mast addressed the importance of ongoing recognition for families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty: “For families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty, our gratitude must be matched with action — and with honor that lasts longer than a single day on the calendar.” (January 9, 2026).
Mast has served as U.S. Representative for Florida’s 21st district since succeeding Patrick Murphy in 2017 and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1980 and currently residing in Fort Pierce, Mast earned his bachelor’s degree from Harvard University Extension School in 2016.
