The Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County has been named one of the recipients of the 2025 Hewell Family Fame for Fitness Award. The organization, which serves as an afterschool and summer program, focuses on providing support and opportunities to children in the Manatee County community.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County offers a safe environment where young people can participate in various programs that promote academic success, character development, leadership skills, healthy lifestyles, and readiness for life and work. Their mission is “to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”
