On Saturday, April 5, former John Carroll High School standout Armani Newton’s current college team, the Bethune–Cookman Wildcats, won 15-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils.

The game took place at Jackie Robinson Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Delta Devils this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 6 p.m. at Alex Rodriguez Park at Mark Light Field against Miami Hurricanes.
