The City of Port St. Lucie is on the lookout for an artist to create a new mural that will encapsulate the essence of the community. The project, known as the “Wall @ City Hall,” aims to replace the existing mural with a fresh representation of Port St. Lucie.

According to the announcement, the new artwork will not only highlight the natural beauty and quality of life in Port St. Lucie but also celebrate the diverse backgrounds that contribute to the city's vibrancy as the Heart of the Treasure Coast.

Planned to adorn a prominent wall along Port St. Lucie Boulevard, one of the city's busiest thoroughfares, the mural is set to become a focal point for residents and visitors alike.

Interested artists, regardless of their preferred medium - be it visual, craft, or design, are invited to apply for this opportunity. Eligible candidates must be at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States, with a requirement for the design to be finalized by Fall 2024.

For a comprehensive understanding of the project's objectives, artist criteria, and budget details, interested parties are encouraged to review the Request for Qualifications. The submission deadline for proposals is April 17, 2024, with all application materials to be compiled into a single PDF file and sent via email to Anna Talarico at anna@designinglocal.com.
